Without wanting to minimize the challenges faced on a daily basis by someone who experiences otherness, I-a white, heterosexual, cisgender female-couldn’t help but say, “I don’t belong to that hate group, and I am always appalled that people’s core beliefs harbor such intolerance.” I know that racism is alive and ugly it just doesn’t make sense to me.
